1. you seen a second account, in PLEX terms.. that is 520M per 30 days approx. 2. you need an orca, about 750M last I checked. 3. you need the skills and modules, and then the time spent training (some might not count time).
power of 2 account. 3 plex (~1.5bn) implant, and ship(~1.8bn) total ~3.5bn if we're being generous.
then like, 6 months to wait for skills to train.
i think mine took 7 months to train because i took info/siege/skirmish/armoured warfare all to V, along with the skill for siege links to have the t2 shield link.
all of that for around 4bn isk was relatively cheap. |

i've 3 accounts (including an orca) confirming 1bn isk is easily obtained.
you're either poor, terrible at making isk, or both, to think that 1bn isk is a lot of money. |

having considered this statement.
dear OP i have a 3 man corp and i'd be very interested in purchasing your service, if you'd like to join my corp and dump ore directly in to my corporate hanger i'd be very happy to reward you handsomely. |

well, it means i can use my orca pilot as a third miner. i can't see how this could possibly go wrong. |

A year ago, joined an "open mining op" from an orca pilot, offering on the spot a fixed price per jetcan. Did that a few times, made friends. Eventually banded together, set up a wormhole op. Had fun, profit for a couple months.
i did the same. minus the wormhole thing. they even sold me a hulk at a reduced price in comparison to jita value. |

Not every miner is a spreadsheet-monkey, you see. In fact, most of them aren't, because if they were, they wouldn't be mining in the first place.
yes they would because no other activity has the isk:effort ratio that mining has aside from perhaps trading, but that requires more knowledge. |

You are doing it wrong!
There is a devaluation of the Orca as a mining booster due to how many players have/use them for other things like hauling. Supply is way heavier than demand on this front. Orca is even great for mission runners who move between all 4 empires to keep standings balanced.
So from a miner point of view you better have something special! Why? because they can get an Orca boost easy with little or no cost.
If you offer something like:
Max Orca boost. With hauling. Maximum Refine. Payouts based on trade hub prices. Weekly Schedule!
You then have the makings of a business model and may find value in creating a corporation based around your mining fleets.
I personally would recommend having a couple extra aspects so you are not just a one trick pony.
Good Luck. Well this is what I was offering: 1. Max Orca Boosting. 2. Hauling (thought that isn't much of an issue since most use Mack and haul to their own stations respectively (and no trust issues them). 3. Max Refining (100%) 4. L4 Mining Mission Access for LPs, and discounted (at LP+cost to agent) +5 and +5% implants 5. Jump Clones with NPC Stations/Corp once at 8.0 from above 6. 5PM-10PM EST every day, extended hours on weekends. ... and no one took me up on it... that was just the things I could think of right off the top for an advent... I am sure there are more benefits to it... *sigh*.
you're still welcome to join my corp. |
